Description

The Car Coming Exit Warning Sign 4010 (Part#: CC4010VW2) enhances pedestrian safety by alerting them to approaching vehicles. This two-sided, wall-mounted sign flashes “CAR COMING” and uses voice alerts for effective warnings. Built with durable, weatherproof 14AWG aluminum and a hammered copper finish, it’s suitable for outdoor use. Powered by a PSC Intelligent Controller, it features programmable outputs, activation timers, and audio cut-off timers. The system is compatible with multiple sensors, including vehicle motion and loop detectors, for flexible installation. Fully engineered for out-of-the-box use, it improves safety in parking facilities and blind spots. ENGINEERED KITS: The Engineered Kits are built with all components ready for install for a SINGLE LANE EXIT or a WIDE LANE EXIT that adds a secondary sign on the other side of the exit (see images)

Operations

The Sign uses a Trigger Device to activate the system. When activated the CAR COMING text flashes and the audio plays, “Attention! Vehicle exiting, watch for vehicles.” The sign stays activated for 10 Seconds (adjustable) until the Activation Timer ends. If another vehicle exits during this period, the Activation Timer will restart.

Audio Cut-Off Timer: Audio can be programmed to turn off at designated times for nearby residential areas.
