Description

The PSC6 4-Way Traffic Control Board manages parking facility traffic from two-way, three-wa, or four-way intersections. Using motion and in-pavement detectors, it identifies vehicles, holds traffic from other lanes for an adjustable time, and queues vehicles based on arrival order. This system ensures safe, efficient, and orderly traffic flow in busy facilities.

Operations

Programmable Traffic-Control Operation

Red Operation: All traffic lights begin red. When a vehicle is detected, the controller gives that direction a green signal for the programmed activation time while every other direction remains red.

If another vehicle arrives from a different direction, it is placed in the queue and receives the next green cycle. A second vehicle detected in the active direction restarts the timer so traffic can clear safely.

All-Green Operation: Traffic lights begin green. Detection in one direction changes every conflicting direction to red while the detected lane remains green for the programmed activation time.

The controller supports two-, three-, or four-way traffic management and works with dry-contact motion detectors, loop detectors, gates, and other vehicle sensors.
