Description

The VTT1812 Vehicle Too Tall Warning Sign provides a high-visibility illuminated warning for low-clearance vehicle entrances. Designed for overheight detection systems, it warns drivers before a tall vehicle enters a parking garage, covered approach, ramp, tunnel, or other restricted-height area.This is an Add-On signs to a Controlled System. See our Overheight Detection and Warning Systems.The 18-inch x 12-inch sign operates on 12VDC and connects to a compatible PSC-5 controller. A BeamGuard30 or other compatible overheight trigger and controller are required and sold separately.

Operations

The sign uses a compatible overheight trigger device and control board to activate the warning. When activated, the VEHICLE TOO TALL message flashes before the driver enters the restricted-height area.

The sign remains active for the programmed timer period. If another overheight vehicle is detected during the active period, the activation timer restarts.
