The illuminated 18-inch x 12-inch sign operates on 12VDC and connects to a compatible PSC-5 or PSC-6 controller. A controller and trigger device are required and sold separately.

The sign uses a compatible trigger device and control board to activate the warning. When activated, the CAUTION VEHICLE ON RAMP message flashes to warn drivers that another vehicle may be in the ramp or conflict area.
The sign remains active for the programmed timer period. If another vehicle is detected during the active period, the activation timer restarts so the warning stays visible throughout the vehicle movement cycle.
