Description

The CC4807 CAR COMING Vehicle Exit Warning Post alerts pedestrians and drivers to approaching vehicles with four-sided illuminated CAR COMING and GO SLOW messaging plus voice warnings. Powered by the PSC-5 Intelligent Sign Controller, it supports programmable outputs, activation timers, and audio cut-off timers. Its outdoor-rated construction provides multidirectional visibility for garage exits, wide drive lanes, hotels, valet areas, and mixed vehicle-pedestrian locations.

Operations

The sign uses a Trigger Device to activate the system. When activated, the VEHICLE EXITING text flashes and the audio announces, “Attention! Vehicle exiting, watch for vehicles.” The sign remains active for the programmed activation time, normally 10 seconds.

If another vehicle is detected during the active period, the activation timer restarts so the warning remains visible and audible while traffic clears.

Audio Cut-Off Timer: Audio can be silenced during designated hours while the illuminated VEHICLE EXITING warning continues to operate.
