Description

The VTT1812 Single Sign Overheight Detection Kit includes one illuminated VEHICLE TOO TALL warning sign, a PSC-5 Central Controller with PS126A power supply, and one BeamGuard30 overheight sensor. The system detects vehicles above the protected clearance height and activates the warning sign before the vehicle reaches a parking garage, ramp, tunnel, covered entrance, or other restricted-height area.

Operations

This KIT uses a BeamGuard30 overheight sensor to activate the system. When a vehicle interrupts the height-detection beam, the PSC-5 activates the Vehicle Too Tall warning sign for the programmed timer period. The system provides a visual warning to stop or redirect the driver before the vehicle reaches the restricted-height entrance.
