Description

The CAR1806 Vehicle Exiting Alley Warning Sign alerts pedestrians to approaching vehicles with flashing CAR displays and voice warnings. Powered by the PSC-5 Intelligent Sign Controller, it supports programmable outputs, activation timers, and audio cut-off timers. Its compact 18-inch by 6-inch enclosure is designed for alleys, tight parking exits, blind driveways, and compact vehicle lanes.

Operations

The sign uses a Trigger Device to activate the system. When activated, the VEHICLE EXITING text flashes and the audio announces, “Attention! Vehicle exiting, watch for vehicles.” The sign remains active for the programmed activation time, normally 10 seconds.

If another vehicle is detected during the active period, the activation timer restarts so the warning remains visible and audible while traffic clears.

Audio Cut-Off Timer: Audio can be silenced during designated hours while the illuminated VEHICLE EXITING warning continues to operate.
