Description

The PSC-5 is used in the controlling and activation of warning systems or controlled audio and electrical equipment. The system takes inputs from sensors such as motion detectors, push buttons, gates, loop detectors, and other vehicle detection systems, and activates Lights and Audio to warn pedestrians and other vehicles of dangers.

Operations

Four Programmable Operating Modes

Mode 1 – Standard: Either input activates all four programmable outputs for the selected activation time. Outputs may be flashing or constant 12VDC.

Mode 2 – Directional Logic: Input 1 followed by Input 2 activates all four outputs. Input 2 followed by Input 1 does not activate the system.

Mode 3 – Two Independent Controls: Input 1 controls Outputs 1 and 2. Input 2 controls Outputs 3 and 4. Each pair operates for the programmed activation time.

Mode 4 – Two-Way Traffic Control: Manages red/green traffic lights for a single lane. The controller queues opposing traffic and restarts the activation timer when another vehicle is detected in the active direction.

Audio Control: Selectable audio files, volume adjustment, and a programmable cut-off timer allow voice alerts to be silenced during designated hours.
